Guh.
The new ram I bought won't be recognised/detected by my mobo.
I haven't flashed it with a USB yet, but I have a feeling it has something to do with the overclocking profile my brother in law has it running on and set it up for when he gave it to us.
I've tried booting from a different profile and changing all the values to auto but the fucking thing won't do it.
Although, it is now reading the full 6GB that are in there instead of just 4.
It'd be nice to go to the 8 I bought though.
Maybe this fucking board doesn't do 4GB sticks?
WWPD?

Skullgirls is super good, if you're into that type of game, and have time to put into it......especially to get past the initial learning curve.

After 2.5 years of waiting, I finally got my copy of DUX 1.5 and Redux. They came with Ghost Blade LE too...

(sorry, they are all newish Dreamcast games). Sad that I will never play them unless I find a CRT (maybe I could get out my old VGA monitor). Modern screens are really bad for the eyes (and make it extremely hard to play dodonpachi, etc on).

Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes is the first thing to ever make me want an Oculus.

I've bonded with MGO now, made a new Sniper/Scout class and am having a real good time. Support roles are much more enjoyable than being offensive.

Yup. Every video I've watched is good friends yelling at each other, yet I'm like, I want to do that! :idk:

Also, late to the party on MGSV, but the scene with the song in this one
NSFW: show
is the most goddamn hilarious part of the game. I remember being a kid playing Snake Eater, in the endless ladder section where the song plays, thinking "woah, this is awesome!" But this one is two guys silently sitting uncomfortably close, face to face in the back of a jeep, while some epic ballad is blasting away. Funny.

Anyone else sign up for the Dark Souls 3 Beta test lottery? Apparently they're gonna choose testers today. I'm really, really, really hoping to get picked.

Picked up Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes and it is great over Skype.
I have the game. My buddy has the manual. Stress ensues.

So I have been slogging through dragon age inquisition lately. Is it just me or is that game designed as inefficiently as possible? Want to keep your people constantly doing war room operations? Get ready to fast travel every 15 minutes. Also lets put the fast travel point a fair amount away from anything useful in your stronghold... and here are 20 quests requiring you to gather hundreds of herbs and minerals since with the mark on your hand you clearly have nothing better to do.

Too right, i'm seriously dreading that Mass Effect: Andromeda is going to be DA:I in space.

I hate the busywork of games, even in MGSV I kept it pretty minor. Games should have good pacing, pointless collecting quests could so easily just be done in a companion phone app - though that would make them even more pointless.

In some ways I think the push for every game to be a massive open world is hurting them. I mean MGSV is a lot of fun (I'm about 50% through at this point), but man there are a lot of pointless missions, both in the main story and side ops. Definitely hoping we see some more well paced, focused games that are packed full of interesting content in the near future (a tall order I realize ). Even if they are overall 'smaller' games. I think I just don't have the attention span for games that I used to have.
