Don't fight it, man. Analog is where it's at. I love the convenience of digital - my El Capistan is going nowhere fast, hell I'd even sell my Timeline first if I needed fast cash - but certain analog delays just add so much mojo that you can't ignore them. Like a DMM, Echoplex, or Space Echo.waltdogg wrote:Must. Fight. Urge. To. Buy. Analog. Delay.

I stupidly blew off a trade offer of a big box DMM for my Bass-Drive a month or two ago. Now that I'm doing setups and making money again I find myself looking at them on Reverb and eBay. An Echoplex/Space Echo is a holy grail of mine as well, mostly for the preamp but nothing beats that "my machine is fucking up but I like how it sounds this way anyways" delay.

I'm actually thinking about busting out my mic and interface and finally learning how to use reaper. Or I could just borrow a mac from my dad and use garageband.
That's probably what I'll do. There won't be any video, but at least the audio will be decent.

There's one. That's a lot of setups though.

No. I'm still looking for mention of a Holy Grail. Feel pretty let down.Dr. Sherman Sticks M.D. wrote:lol am i the only one who thought you meant an EHX holy grail..?
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.
