Re: what would you want the next ss/bs pedal to feature?
I'm also totally in love with my F**K... I thought I liked my Klon- type OD... the F**K adds such an amazing bite and crispiness and shimmery-ness to my sound. I dumped my Klon within a week of getting a F**K.
I've had an idea for an effect... a parametric EQ/Distortion circuit with independent controls over amount of fuzz/distortion/OD you throw on the low freqs, the mid freqs, and the high freqs... you can choose to maintain the integrity of the highs while you distort the lows, or distort the high freqs and keep your lows clean-ish.... or just distort your mids and keep your highs and lows shimmery and deep. Blend controls for each freq band, parametric choice of where the band cut-offs are, being able to change the character of the distortion via different diode/transistor combinations...
I'm just gonna read up and figure out how to do this on my own.. what the hell

This pedal described (crossover dirt) above can be witnessed in the Fairfield Four Eyes but i would LOVE a ssbs implementation

I get the impression that it's your bone of contention fuzz pedal, but I'm hoping for a newer fully featured version of the Hawk Fuzz. One that is more tweakable and gets super crazy. I think people just missed the point last time. But I'm in love with my Hawk.

Oops! I didn't know that. I've never owned or played one. Looks like a TAFM is on my gas list.

Something similar to the No Memory so I can stop looking for a delay pedal.
