Sooo many sick guitars up in here! I can't even... But I'm not ashamed to say I love my Squier '51. It has a Lace Sensor Purple as the neck pickup, which is an awesome P90-type thing.

Big fan of the squier '51, one of these days I'm gonna wreck one. Your alarm clock is nice also, mine seems to be stuck on the same time as yours.

Squier 51s are ridiculously cool. There's one in the pawn shop near me that I'd love to buy and fix up, but I have other things that I need/want to spend money on atm. I'll get my hands on one someday...

Ha! Right now that clock is just a sad reminder of better times, before the whole scene took a nosedive this summer... but usually that's the perpetual timezone here.

And thanks/I agree, '51s are cool, cheap and fun to play with. Mine is from the early 2000s, haven't done much to it except for the neck pup, bridge and got the frets levelled.

Hi there. First time poster, long time lurker. Here's my guitar:

It's a Fernandez "The Revival" strat. I think it was made in the 80s. Anyone have a Fernandez strat with those pickups in eggshell white? I've never seen one like this.
idk

Jaguar now has two firebird pickups. Gonna be relocating them a bit (closer to the bridge and neck, respectively) when I get around to cutting a pickguard for it (mainly so I can accommodate whatever pickup I end up melting wax off of + sticking in the middle position for some microphonic fun...). As you can kinda see in the pic, the screws for the neck pickup are totally different to the ones for the bridge. The screws that came with the pickup I ordered were utter shit that not only broke down after trying to adjust the height (I was using the correct sized screwdriver, and wasn't going at it like a dumb ass either), but also somehow managed to become contorted when I was turning (wtf?!) I ended up ragequitting, and having to go to the hardware store so I could buy some fucking screws and put the damn thing in.

:picard:

They sound good tho, and for the first time ever, I actually like how they sound in the middle position! I only really messed with them thru my muff so far since I can't be bothered to hook up other effects.

Now the only things I need to worry about are a neck (need something fatter), probably locking tuners, a Cobain switch plate (for how I intend to wire the impending middle pickup) and a brass nut (any recommendations on who to go with for that?), and I'll be done (for now...).

Edit: Resized image...
