Which Mosrite is making that ad? haha...they are the worst business people, I swear. Love them though. Awesome guitars...my favorite and from my hometown...but how many times can they blow it?
I mean they let CB take Fuzzrite from 'em.
They have one dealer that you have to go through and he seems like a real dingleberry used car saleman type in Vegas. Like I need two gold chains and a mid-life crisis card to shop at Ed Roman's shop...
Sorry for the rant.

Well, shit, they finally acknowledged Arte as a dealer (he owns the largest collection of Mosrites...that's the place I got my first Grunge pedal...was like a block from my studio and used to kick it there all the damn time at Front Porch. Got my Sovtek from one of the worker dudes there). Ed Roman used to say that Arte was an imposter dealer. Weird. Well, at least you can buy them at home now.
I think one of the ex-wifes and his daughter are still feuding. And then there are the two companies they licenced to in Japan (Fillmore and Kurokama). Fillmore still is legit Mosrite though I think.
Like Ed Roman used to say that he was the sole distro for Mosrite and F-U to anyone that wants to stock them. He wasn't going to allow it unless they went through stupid hoops.
Hallmark was Bakersfield too, but some new guy owns it (and he is really nice and stuff) but the guitars are Korean.

That is a pretty guitar, man. The German Curve on that Acoustic is awesome! 24 frets? You playing some Vai covers or something?
Closest I have gotten to a Mosrite is my Silvertone 1445....but the bridge cracked in storage (I.E. hanging on a guitar stand in the bedroom)? I dunno, pretty crazy but it looks like cheap pot metal and it is def pulling off the body. Pretty much unplayable now...going to have to fix it (hadn't played it since I got the Welson and SGV).
Great sounding guitar. The pickups in the Japanese one were fantastic. So, I can only imagine the ones in the Mosrite and the Bartell are just as good if not better. Heavy as fuck though and the neck was a little too narrow for me. So, I never ended up playing it that much. I traded it for a Guyatone HG-188 double eight steel, which I also don't play that much.
I've got a Univox Hi-Flier Bass. Wouldn't mind the real thing though.
Yeah, Silvertones are pretty cheap. You should definitely fix it.

2x10 or 2x12 to go with my baritone build. I want to get something horizontal for my YBA-3 so it doesn't hang off the edges, and 2x15 is just way too much. Gonna try to sell my Peavey cab for super cheap to help fund it.
My soldering station should be here tomorrow so I'm GASing for some fun builds.
There's this '71 Twin at the guitar shop here in town. I want it and I need it SO DAMN badly. It has a pair of Cannabis Rex's in it and sounds godly, but no way in hell will I ever have $700 dispensable at any point in my life. I'm planning on saving up a coue hundo and trying to put it on layaway. Fuck shit I need it.
I had so much fun putting together my Jazzmaster that I really want to build a maple fretboard Jaguar, but that's expensive too. I pseudo built my Jagmaster into a Jaguar and am wondering if it makes more sense to take it apart and sell the body and neck individually, or to turn it back into a Jagmaster with a new pickguard and sell it as a whole. What would you guys do? I have Jaguar plates and wiring in it (sans rhythm switch, but I have the parts for it) and I'd want to keep those, as they alone are about $80. What makes the most sense? What would the dudes at OSG be hyped about? I assume they would buy that shit before any of y'all.
