Welcome to the forum, inception!
I have kind of a controversial opinion about wahs and I'm sorry for it and I don't mean to insult or alienate anybody with it.... but I hate wahs. *dodges bottles and rotten vegetables*
I just don't like that sound... every live show I've ever been to I've tried to unplug the wahs from the pedal boards.. and I've been kicked out every time because of it.
I guess I'm just not a wah guy but I hope we can still be buddies.

I can relate to that Ryan...
Even if I purchased the best wha that I know of (the Keeler Designs Stretch
Wah)... I'm still not using it... I don't like using a
Wah.
I don't mean it's bad... it's just not for me (I'm not a
Wah guy).
So it's there on eBay... if someone is interested.

I think it's probably cause I don't really like solos either... and that's when a lot of wah-wahing goes on in a song, during the solos. I don't like when they bring a sax in for a solo either though.. I guess just don't do solos is what I'm saying.

I am kinda in the same boat where I dont really use one. I was hoping you could create an amazing pedal and call it a wah but have it sound nothing like one. You know like fried ice cream. Thete you go I even gave you the name for.it.....

Haha! I think that sounds like the coolest wah idea ever.. you kick it on and it doesn't sound like a wah at all.. I love it!

Like a ring mod in a
wah enclosure.

Pretty much every pedal would be cool in a wah enclosure hey... fuzz, delay, chorus, trem, phaser, all the hits. There's so much room in a wah shell too, I'm thinking 10 knobs up one side, 10 switches up the other... I'm liking this idea...

And leds, lots of leds. My technical vocabulary isnt the best, but maybe like an octave adjuster...so you can change the pitch with the movement of a pedal. Along the lines of a whammy.pedal but better. And gain cause you cant have too much gain (says the Herbert owner with a woofer wailer).

Brassmaster?
I'm actually in the middle of learning a sax solo from a certain song on bass. Gonna be fuzzy.

Haha I used to think those guys were really cool... it's hard to avoid wahs in music, isn't it? It's something you just have to get over!
