Dunwich Horror... erm, Amps!

Since I'm silly for all things H.P.Lovecraft I had to check this out and, well, these things look pretty sweet, don't they... combine the aesthetic traits of my favorite
amps: the vintage Laney and Sundown, and the Hughes & Kettner - for the amplified stage lighting.

Looks SO cool!

Currently waiting on a build from Nick myself, Metropolitan with KT88 power section. His work looks incredible and his prices are more than fair. EXCITE!!!
Swell dude also. I've spent a few hours on the phone working everything out, knowledgable sumabitch!

They look hella great, one more thing which makes me wish i lived in the usa.

Do you do them all based on classics or do you do original designs too? There aren't too many amp builders doing original stuff around.

The honest truth for every amp builder is that are just really are not any original designs anymore, just lots of standing on the shoulders of giants or in some cases almost exact copies or sligth mods (Fender Bassman ---> JTM 45-----> Sunn Model---->Sovtek MIG----->Laney SuperGroup). I do not build clones of any amp but I do borrow what you might call the foundation of some amp designs like the Wizard has some things like an Orange/Matamp (Depth is a FAC style control, same kinda of EQ) but then I have a lot more gain with a phase inverter you would see in many Marshalls but with KT88 output tubes.

Don't forget Traynor Bass Master after JTM45.
Metropolitan, Wizard, and the Sunn all look really good. Esp a Wizard with no fx.
Must. Wait. For. Laney. Repair.

Shiiiiiit, your prices sound very reasonable. I've got TMA anyways. See if I like the Laney GH50L when it's repaired, then maybe sell multiple
amps for Wizard.

Only bummer is the parts guy forgot to order the tech the Marshall transformer it needs when I picked up my other amp, so I got
another two week wait...
How is the Wizard with heavy fuzz? I know you have a Pharoah... How about a Meathead-type fuzz, MtKing Megalith, or tonebender/fuzz face/brassmaster 'classic fuzz'?

Doesnt do well with od/fuzz pedals at all, its got a lot of gain and slamming more signal just creates blocking distortion (sounds like sound is cancelling out) watch the demo vid if you want to get a feel. I designed it to avoid ever using any other fuzzs or distortion or ods,
Metro is the amp for pedals, much more headroom.
Were you the guy who just email me?>

Nope, I only e-mail company-ppls when I wanna buy and have the $$$ to do so. It's a good way of scratching companies like Jet City off your list when they can't be bothered to answer a single simple question.
I did watch the Wizard demo - all of it (and the Sunn-style too)! That's why I asked, didn't know if you had the Pharoah in there like with the Sunn-alikey amp's guitar demos. I imagine every electric wizard fan + fuzz luvver has the same question.

Sweet
amps. How do you pick just one?
