drew something for the first time in a few years. it's part of this "draw something everyday for 30 days" challenge. first day's assignment was to draw myself.


i stopped drawing for the challenge after day 2, but it feels good to be back in the drawing game anyway.

Dude, I just finished the 30 days as part of a uni assessment for early childhood arts and humanities.
I'm compiling it all into a folio to hand in right now.
You're skills are already way above mine, you should stick with it.
I hadn't drawn anything since high school art (14 years ago now) and it felt really good to just get back into it, even if I suck.

I actually used this thread as a resource.

Continuing to experiment. This week is minimal photography with minor shopping.

went out of town at the begining of this month for 2 weeks... painted 33 8x10 paintings.

went out of town again for two weeks and about to head home... painted 40 8x10 paintings. I think starting after all the art shows I have coming up I'm going to embark on a venture of trying to complete 1000 paintings in one year. And I'm not going to even count smaller pieces I do a slew at a time basically as quick impulse buys that are normally 4x4- 6x4. Cause if I did I'm probably already there this year.
