Please elaborate. This was not my experience when I was there, but I only stayed for 10 days.

Shit, my brother went clubin with two dudes from Sweden and never had any issues.

Would you say the Pharmacies are unsafe to buy from?

Thanks again for all the tips guys.

So to sum things up, the Mexico trip was amaaaazing. The people are so bloody nice. I don't think I've ever experienced hospitality and (what at least felt genuine and honest) friendliness like that before. The food was amazing too (yes Chankgeez, I'm still vegan!). Everything just tastes a lot more over there. Pineapple for example, which I don't even like at home, but in Mexico it's apparently delicious, as almost all kinds of fruit. Had plenty of tamales and nopales too, to name some of my fave foods from the trip and ceviche!

Obviously, it's always extra cool when you get to stay with the locals and have them show you around, but I'd deffo go back (it's a big country so there's plenty left to explore!) and recommend anyone who hasn't been to go. I don't speak any spanish but did french in school for a few years and felt I understood and picked up on things really well, although I couldn't speak much myself. But yeah. All in all an amazing experience!

:erm: I still have doubts that 99 out of 100 Mexicans understand the concept of being vegan.

Good to hear you had a great trip though! :!!!:

Also, I didn't dirnk the water (Although I was close a couple of times, just out of habit) and my belly was fine for the entire trip. I think the day it dies, if it's been a good belly and there's a stomach-god or so, it'll go to Mexico.

Haha, thanks! Tbf it worked pretty well. I'd say when we ate out 4/10 understood directly what we meant. As for the other times we'd brought our "vegan passports" (great little thing to have when traveling) which got things sorted.
