That was awesome! And Pujols hit is 200th hr as an angel too.
I listened to the game on AM. The power went out in the middle of the game in St. Pete but I was stuck in traffic, so it was nice to listen to the game. (1.75 hours to go 17 miles)
And it came after sweeping the dodgers...so excellent week so far.
Always thought it was cool that one of our favorite restraunts had pictures of him from highschool to the mlb. Always rooted for him and was glad when the angels got him back. 27 is too young.
Trout may be the best player on the team (and league) but Skaggs was always the voice. He was the one that talked to reporters and was candid about the team.
The Lucroy hit...that's divided a lot of people too. La Stella also broke his leg last week on a foul off his shin which kept him from the all star game. Emotional ride these angels are on.
I think Skaggs was really well liked around the league too. Kind of forget that a lot of the under 30 stars right now from so cal probably played against him in high school. His mom was coach of the year down here in 1995. It's a tragedy.
I like Adell a lot. Dude just seems so smart, determined, and level-headed beyond the talent. He's written some good articles about the minor leagues too.
Marsh might be great too.
We need a catcher too. And pitchers. Not even an ace. 6+ innings with 4.5 era per outing is cool with me for a start haha.
I think Canning is still pretty messed up in his head. He hasn't been right since he took the Skaggs slot. Heaney is better than he has shown too.
