We're halfway through The OA and loving it!

Good for you, man.
I just couldn't enjoy it. Even though my addiction forced me to go through the whole thing, I just did not like it.

Currently watching Barry. It's actually pretty good, but, for some reason, I thought it was going to be a series.

it seems to be a pretty polarizing show. it'll take a few agonizing days for the wife and i to get through it, i suspect.

Due to taking a sick day and not being able to move off the couch all day I got through the rest of Dirk Gently and a few episodes of Black Mirror. I absolutely loved Dirk Gently and really can't wait for the second season. Not gelling with the earlier Black Mirror episodes as much as season 3, though.

What I thought would take the better part of the week is already completed.

Really liked the OA. Lots of weird, cool shit going on. Head scratcher but fun.

Watching the Sense8 Christmas Special.
I like the show, but the sex scenes are so uncomfortable.
And the sexual tension.

The shows have really been Netflix's savior IMO. I never thought I'd watch a Netflix show and think "fuck that was good as hell". So far I've really dug-

Marco Polo (this is my favorite show in a really long time. Probably up there with Game of Thrones to me).
Penny Dreadful
Daredevil
Luke Cage (it's a bit cheesy, but really fucking good still)
Black Mirrors (kind of dumb at times but overall really good)
Narcos (FUCK! This show is great!)
Making a Murdered (messed up shit)
Glitch (I thought this was a really interesting take on the whole zombie genre. Not even close to zombies BTW. :) )

No not yet. I'll be honest, I'm turned off by the PG-13 rating. I may still check it out soon.

I loved The OA. I'll prolly get hate mail, but I like it better than Stranger Things.

Also, after the second episode, still really enjoying Hip-Hop Evolution.

I was quite enthralled by the OA. I am about 6 episodes in.

I had a hard time getting into Stranger Things. I'm about 1.5 episodes in and haven't felt much inspiration to get back into it.

Stranger Things is good fun. For us of a certain age, it is full of lovely nostalgia. But, I think The OA is more mature, emotionally and intellectually.

edit:
Oh, and speaking of episode 6, isn't it odd that it is about half the length of the other episodes? Has me wondering if something was cut.
