Anyone been watching this? Finished it up last night...loved it.

shhhh, please don't tell!
Watched the first episode and like lots of it.
I'm certain it gets more gore and suspense as it develops...

I finished the other day. Good stuff. But I dunno, I'm 40, so some of the well crafted recreation of the era and pop culture references are really dialed in for me. I'm not sure if that could be covering for shortcomings that glide right past me. I cannot tell if Ryder's bad acting is intentional to evoke vintage bad acting, for instance. But that didn't take away from the thing for me.

I gather a second season is planned, too.

Yeah, my bride was getting kind of weirded out by how geeked I was over the sequences. Some of it is very John Carpenter-y, too.

Wife and I do one episode a night, so we're over halfway through. I'm enjoying the shit out of it, especially the front and center nature of the oldschool blue box D&D Expert set!

Wife and I finished it in two days. Fantastic. The music was awesome, and I'm really happy a second season has been confirmed. Lots of loose threads to explore.

Super entertaining. Nostalgic and a bit of 80's pastiche, but in the best ways possible. Kid cast was great, and entertaining.

I finished it the day after it came out on Netflix.
It was pretty good, made me think of Super 8 or ET (for obvious reasons) meets Twin Peaks.
I'm curious how they'll continue it, though.

Those three kids (Mike, Lucas, Dustin) just killed me. Dustin/Toothless, in particular. Scene stealer.
