And that's the story of the first time I got crabs.

Also first run through with all the stuff came out to like 10 minutes. Which will be mercifully short

So convolution reverb basically works by taking a sample of a sound (usually it's a balloon or a gun or a clap or whatever) and then it creates a reverb that is, more or less -- depending on how good the algo is, etc. -- the same as the room tone dictated by the sample.

That's awesome. The following article was also good: https://acousticengineering.wordpress.c ... mausoleum/

Image
The graph shows the reverberation time at various frequencies. For frequencies where speech is important (500 Hz – 2 kHz) the reverberation time is about 13 seconds [2], rising to 18 seconds at low-frequency.

Bonus lolz:

Yeah that was a good read. I have his book on my Amazon watch list (and have ever since this: https://acousticengineering.wordpress.c ... ant-space/ ) but I haven't picked it up yet.

Cut the bass going in.
Fiddle with the predelay.

You Swedes are arriving by car, right? Headed straight to the rehersal space?

I'm trying to figure out which ILFers I've actually got to meet up with on Friday, and at what time.

D.o.S. arrives earlier
Monkeydancer arrives earlier
Swedes go by car
Disarm D'arcy arrives at the central station around 7pm
SquareWaveFuzz???

If vid gets out of bed in time we'll probably arrive around the same time as D'arcy. Don't worry, you'll hear us coming.
