I'm legitimately so excited for Fallout 76. It's pretty much exactly what I wanted extra from Fallout 4 (other than a deeper story). I love base building and exploring, but always find it hard to spend any real time messing with bases if it's just me seeing them. Also if I see one more person on the internet say that they feel "betrayed" or that they're killing the franchise because they released a spinoff to a game, I am going to call their parents.

I just read more about it and it's not for me. I have no problem with them making spin-off games as long as they keep producing more in the main series too, but always online base building is definitely not for me

Don't think F76 will be for me either. I like that they will keep servers down to a few players so there probably isn't much chance you'll run into people, but (in my experience) people are generally assholes in online play... Could be fun to be able to do a LAN campaign with some friends though, if you could make it to where it's only the people you know.

Todd said you'd be able to play with friends, so I'd assume at least something like that. Plus if you can do single player, you may be able to define the amount of people on your server but this is all based off of my own hopes and dreams

I have absolutely no interest in 76 but at least it's a change? FO4 just looked like a worse version of 3 from what I saw of my friend playing it and I wasn't interested in that either, so they shouldn't care what I think about it as I don't appear to be the target market now.

These people did not deserve to get a deep cut AWK jam.

Hype for Sekiro.

Apparently it was that the crowd wasn't mic'd up, so you were only able to hear a small portion of the cheers.

I'm actually pretty stoked for Fallout 76. It seems, on the surface at least, like a game more geared to my play style. I've owned and started every FO game but only bothered completing FO:NV.

Cyberpunk 2077 and Doom Eternal are my favorite things so far. Dunno how to feel about fallout considering I was bored to death by Fallout 4.

A friend of mine is art director on the new Resident Evil 2 that just got officially announced, looks good :

And it's nice to see stuff other current or ex-coworkers are working on showed at E3 too (AC Odyssey, Kingdom Hearts 3, etc.)... :)

This so much.

Not everyone can spend 99% of their waking hours defending their base from nukes in a fucking video game.
I'm expecting F76 to be as fucked as Ark, but who knows.

Fuck. :!!!:

Shame there was no FF7 news, but I can't complain about anything considering that goddamn Resident Evil 2 is actually a thing. Assassins Creed looks different to other AC games - which means I might like it, while Ghost of Tsushima looks exactly what Assassins Creed should've been - without Adam Jensen putting on a weird accent.

I will say that even if I am a MGS fanboy, I do think that Kojima suffers from a less shitty variation of 'David Cage syndrome' so Death Stranding is going to have great world building with good subtext or completly self masturbatory bullshit. I can handle both though so... :idk:

Lots of cool tidbits this E3, I think I'm most interested in the Cuphead DLC and RE2. There's some PS4/Xbox sales going on too, might finally grab Odin Sphere and Shadow of the Colossus.

My 5+ year old laptop is acting up, and I wanted a better one for contract work and music production anyways, so I've got a new one in the mail. It was really struggling with this gens games - could only play DkSIII and Nier on very low settings. Gonna be cool to play through them again at 60fps.
