I'm on PC for Destiny 2.

It's really optimized. I was getting 75fps at high settings. around 60fps with some drops on ultra. (my computer is upper mid range. R9 390 GPU) I was surprised it ran so well.
Game actually looked good at low settings too. I started low, and kept going up in settings til I saw some fps drop.
I read the anti-aliasing wasn't ready/optimized for the Beta....so I just keep that low and it runs even better.

As for the gameplay, nice to be back in Destiny after 1.5 years of switching to PC. It's as good as I remember it.
Beta only has intro mission, 1 strike, and quick play and comp PvP.

I had a file on Metroid Prime about an hour in, having just got the Varia Suit. This is where it starts getting really good, so I've been playing it the past two days. It's been long enough that I'm not just blasting through, I'm reacquainting myself with the environment again.

Retro/hoarder types - the fairly cheap S-video cable you can get off amazon (I think mine was about £15?) makes a noticeable difference on my PAL GameCube, presumably SNES and N64 too. It's not progressive scan but it's an improvement on my fairly up-to-date-but-budget LED TV.

GF gave me an early bday present: Switch with Breath of the Wild!

Now, what other games do I get? Single player or local co-op stuff! New Mario is obvious...

i kinda really want it. but i don't want it if i can't run and shoot at the same time, which for some reason has not been shown in any gameplay footage...

^^ Love Metroid in all it's incarnations. I don't have any of the new systems, but I did just acquire Echoes for my Cube.. booya

well, just let me know if you can run and shoot and at the same time. i have a major bone of contention over this.

It looks like you can shoot without going into the laser-sight aim mode.

Ugggghhhhhhhh 'Project Octopath' looks great. Finally, it's getting to the stage where a Switch is a definate purchase.
