wassat? Blasphe-whaaaaaaat?

finished Doom Eternal. SUPER good game. such a tightly tuned shooter that at higher levels almost every room feels like i am baaaaaarely squeaking through. which, while AWESOME, gives me zero desire to try it on the higher difficulties. i played through Doom 2016 through Hell i think, Eternal was a normal run through and... i don't want to bang my head against harder than that right now.

going to grab the Bounty of Blood BL DL tonight, but staying off the console for a few days. looking forward to leveling up and running around with Old Man Zane and Boom Boom Mech GrrL. i'm totes an Amara Main, want to try out some others.

been playing sooooooo much Dead Cells. when i lost my Switch a bit ago i lost all my game progresses (how bullshit is it that you have to pay for a monthly sub to keep an online backup of data? ALL the bullshit. that's how.) and noodled with Cells occasionally. just sat down for a few days and am comfy running at 1 cell on, afraid to turn the second on.

they did the extra Biomes DL, Upgrade of Plenty is s'posed to add a backpack, make money less SPEND EVERYTHING at endgame and smooth out difficulty spikes. i have INTEREST. but that won't be on Switch for a few weeks.

Yakuza 0 rules hard and I look forward to playing other games in the series.

Earth Defense Force 4.1 is so funny and fun, I can't wait to play 5... but 1st I must complete "Witcher 3." I've only got a few hours in it but seems OK so far.

Before that, I put 60 hours into "DEATH STRANDING" the most troll game in the history of video games. I give it all the stars and rank it as one of the best games I've ever played. Recommended if you like tedium simulators. It's incredible.

Finished Black Mesa, which was nice.
Titanfall 2's seen a surge that's ruined the servers, unfortunately. So I've been having an even worse time playing my favorite game that I also hate with a passion.
Also got Halo MCC, SOMA, and Fez.

I got around to looking at Ubisoft Forward.

Watch Dogs Legion looks like Watch Dogs 2 but More™ and I'm okay with that. Also, really liked the trailer from Albert Mielgo.

Tom Clancy's Elite Squad looks more like Tom Clancy's Fortnite, and I'm pretty sure it's a mobile game, but I liked the modeling, anyway.
I'm about as interested in Ghost of Tsushima and AC Valhalla as I was about the last however many AC titles there are. :idk:
Far Cry 6 is either gonna be cool or awful with no in between options.

Today my son published a game ("Two dimensions") that he made with Scratch:

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/412252063/

It is a platformer/puzzle game and so far he receives quite a few rave reviews of Scratch users. Ít is a very sophisticated game in comparison to all the other stuff made with Scratch. He invested two weeks into this project, including the music tracks for the two dimensions.

Got a few levels in and thought it was pretty clever. Really awesome!

I thought I died the first time but realized what I did was hit the goal haha. The physics are actually pretty good and predictable so far (which is better than I can say about a lot of games I've played).
