Hadn't played PUBG in months, loaded it up and que times are anywhere from 7-15 minutes. Pathetic.

Was looking around for Switch games as I haven't used it in ages, because for some reason my Vita still gets more usage as a portable system. :idk:

Finally got around to buying a Free sync 144Hz monitor, for about $300ish au. Got 1080p so I just still play PS4 without it looking like shit and my RX480 still handles everything 100+fps on High settings

Nice! Is 144hz worth it?

I didn't know how much better it made games feel, found myself winning the kind of firefights that I would lose unfairly and have been hitting Headshots way more often. I went from playing on a Sony TV which I don't know how I played on for so long in hindsight. I don't care about playing on Ultra Settings these days, so if you scale your graphics down to Medium/High the framerate is worth way more

The only objectively bad thing about the monitor is that the colours aren't anywhere near as good as a nice IPS screen, but for an entry level monitor I can't complain. I don't know if the one I got is new or discontinued, but there seems to be a lot of KG271 models with a 75hz rather than 144hz. :idk:

Never been a hug fan of hockey games. That said NHL Rivals for the original Xbox had the best online 3 on 3 pond hockey mode ever. ( maybe only ever not sure )

Ice Hockey on the NES was the pinnacle for me. Make your team from choosing the skinny guy, average guy, or fat guy.

I'm a basic bitch and bought Black Ops 4, haven't played one since AW.

I just want something easy to chew through and work out if I actually want to build myself a new PC.

All my real life friends (3) are playing CODBOIII.....I just can't bring myself to buy it.

Played the BETA and it was alright but I couldn't imagine being into for more than a month or two. Similar to OW or PUBG.......just not into online competitive or anything PvP right now.

Bo4 is pretty darn good for a COD, but I really don't like the character designs and it still has the usual bullshit where you instantly die from someone behind you while you go 1v1 with someone infront of you.

I'll happily play it until the DLC maps start coming out.

First time playing a CoD. (I think I played the campaign of Black Ops 1 when I got my XBOX 360 but nothing else.)

I ended up buying BO4 and played over the weekend.
I wouldn't say I really had fun.....just played and it was ok. very "meh" experience.
Not my type of game mostly. I really only get deep into loot games (D3, Destiny, Borderlands, Warframe etc).

Other than the whole Simon Stålenhag controversy, I'm into this game.

Update: got the beta, it's pretty decent (but needs a lot of work).
