Yeah, I agree that a sub forum would probably be a ghost town.

I'm under the impression that the whole demo thread fad started with UG getting his own thread. Didn't we just post demos in the threads where the pedals are discussed before that? Most pedals have some sort of discussion going on - be it "there is new stuff from company xy", or a thread in the hosted forums or shark tank. Maybe that is the best place for a demo? To me it makes more sense to keep stuff organized by pedals than players.

I'd gladly take credit for the demo threads popping up, I like that more people are posting them cause its only on ilf that I bother to listen to demos :)
I think the setup of the day thread is great too when you post sound clips, much better than just picture porn :thumb:

I'm not interested in most stuff Excane plays, but I love watching his demos because they are always rad.

Horses for courses. :idk:

Maybe the YouTube tag link can be changed to ? Seems to be a persistent issue around here.

FUCK YOU

LOL

I like the variety we have, but I feel the opposite of most people. haha. The more out there demos (shit even some I make), just don't help me. hahaha.

I don't care how they're organized here. I thought I did, but as time goes on, it's whatever. Anarchy in the UK bros! No guidelines! FUCK THE SYSTEM!!!!!!! Long live the new flesh!!!!!! wait...

I think you read me wrong bro - I meant the pedals - I'm not interested in most of the pedals Excane plays. After I got The Elements I just stopped caring about distortion - so if it Exie's videos were organised under "distortion box x demo" I'd never watch them because I wouldn't even click on that thread. But I'll watch every video Jeff does because they are fucking rad. I'm not interested in the gear, I'm interested in the player. That's why I like threads for individual users - certain dudes I like regardless of what gear they are playing.

Same with your vids too actually. I don't play bass, but I love watching and listening to your vids. start a Jwar demos thread. Hahaha.

So I figured I'd mentioned this just in case no one else has.

There's a few functions on the site that just do not work right.

The first one is the search function. Now it will find stuff yes, but once you click on the second page it goes to a 404 error. It's done this for probably the entire time I've been a member. LOL. It will get to page two, but that's after refreshing the page ten times.

Same thing when searching for members.

only for a day or two

New update coming soon. Hopefully that'll fix some glitches.
Some glitches seem to be temporary, and fix themselves...some only affect random users. We've been lucky overall. I've been sacrificing lots of goats to keep the board software from going down a glitch-hole that it can't come out of.
