I like The China History Podcast and its lack of adornment. I think the multi-part series can be dry, but the dude covers so many topics that it's not hard to find something interesting.

I listened to a decent chunk of that. Eugene Robinson is awesome.

I've been listening to Joe Rogan and his friends' podcasts a lot:

The Joe Rogan Experience (when he's not having comedians and fighters on, he gets a lot of cool sciency people on)
The Duncan Trussell family hour (which I'm pretty sure I listen to soley to hear Duncan's version of "commercials")
Tangentially Speaking with Dr. Chris Ryan
The Drunken Taoist podcast (Daniele Bolelli

and I've been checking out Radiolab a lot the last few days

That's a healthy list. I listen to a lot of those, too.

I also like:
(Comedy)
Answer Me This!
The Bugle
Judge John Hodgman
(History)
Backstory
The History of English
(Storytelling/Literary)
Benjamin Walker's Theory of Everything
Home of the Brave
Love + Radio
Story Collider
Wiretap
(Music)
Conan Neutron's Protonic Reversal
eTown
Soundcheck from WNYC
Thanks for Giving a Damn
(Science)
Exposing Pseudoastronomy
Infinite Monkey Cage
(etc.)
The Dinner Party
Late Night Live
Oh No Ross and Carrie
Penn's Sunday School
Psychedelic Salon
Rachel and Miles X-Plain the X-Men
Savage Lovecast
Sawbones
Vinyl Cafe
War Rocket Ajax
99% Invisible

Probably the most mystifying podcast I listen to is Speculative Grammarian. It seems to be a podcast by some linguistics geeks who claim to be reading from satirical academic journal that doesn't actually exist.

And Night Vale is genius.

Came to suggest Radiolab and Comedy Bang Bang. both are great.

Havent listened to it much, but there's a podcast called How Did This Get Made that just talks about terrible movies in great detail
