The Band Names Thread

Postby IEatCats » Sun Jan 22, 2012 12:49 am

In which, we propose awesome band names as we come up with them. Try to post names you don't plan on using, I don't want this getting google indexed and someone bitching about a name they wrote being stolen.

Skullfuck
Dark Star Orchestra
Muffin (Or: Muff'n)
Blasto
MC Delta T

If you want to use a name, say so.

I could see that being either post-rock, or mathcore.

there's a guy who recorded several techno sides for the Basic Channel label out of berlin in the 1990s under the nom du disque Various Artists. imagine the fun i had trying to hunt down his stuff on GEMM.com.

When my friend's death metal band was coming up with names I got a pretty hilarious list read to me over the phone. Two of my favorites from that list:

Barbara Streisand's Dick Factory

AND

Fuck My Ass I'm Pregnant

Chainsaw Defloration was an honorable mention.
