Aussy, Veteransdaypoppy and I think it's time the forum changes it's name to I LOVE TUBESCREAMERS, since we're all old enough to realize that no pedals would have ever existed if it weren't for Les Paul using a tubescreamer in the 1950's after coming back from the future in the 90's where tubescreamers < DS-1s. He was trying to bring back a popular pedal that fell out of favour before it even existed.

talk about innovation.

I agree with all of this save the name change solely because I haven't bookmarked this site yet for some reason and it's easier to spell as it is.

But yeah, Ibanez tubescreamer was the first pedal I ever bought. I still lurves it. Also, Les Paul and I hang out all the time. Mrs. Paul makes lemonade and we jam out then cruise down Les Paul Parkway on our way to Wendy's.

I do love Tube Screamers.
Barber, Analog man and at least a dozen others built their careers on building “the perfect” TS clone.
A whole religion and countless forums/websites has sprung form just one pedal

Nations have gone to war over the black label vs silver label issue.

The speculative buying and selling of JRS 4558s caused the stock market to crash and countries to go bankrupt over night.
