Do you play guitar or bass?

When I get a chance I'll experiment with the circuit a little and see if I can get some more low end out of it and I'll let you know how it goes. If I can get more low end without messing up the sound I'll mod yours for free if you want.

What bothers me more is that these types usually don't seem to have any aspirations as a musician aside from copying someone else.

That seems so useless to me...

Yep. I've never seen more Timelines, Klon(es), Flints, and King of Tones in one spot. Every single board except for ours looks the same. Pages and pages of the SAME THING. Buh. Must be a good tone, huh?

I hate fucking Craigslist flakes. There was an ad on my local CL for a bunch of pedals, including a cool big-box vinyl finished RRR. So I emailed, offered a trade. The guy seemed very interested in my trade offer, so I sent him photos of my pedal when I got home from work.

Well that was three days ago, haven't heard back yet. Yesterday I emailed him again offering to pay cash if he didn't want the trade anymore, and still I haven't heard from him. The ad is still up, but if it already sold just have some common courtesy and let me know.

When you think of how much money we spend on guitars that don't play/sound proportionally better to cheaper ones, it all makes sense. How many people do you know that won't dare look at a MIM Fender, let alone a Squier, but will dish out thousands of dollars on a Custom Shop Fender simply because it's made in America? Sure, it's probably better. But is it 10x better? Rarely.
This can apply to almost anything. Cars, clothes, appliances. We all do it somewhere, some just pick music.

I don't except myself either.

Meh. I just think it gets into this whole status thing. Especially on TGP. It's like people thrive over there on envy.

That's probably true, but we all do it to an extent. I avoid TGP altogether anyways.

I've stopped buying gear in order to pay off the rest of my student loans. Barring my car finally kicking the bucket I should be debt free in 12 months. I've been doing well for 3 months, but every day I see some sweet gear in a thread and I have to fight the urge to pull out my debit card and go on a spree. I've even stopped looking at the buy/sell/trade section. This fucking blows.

I'll have to borrow someone's phone or something.
No wait, my folks come home from vacation this morning. Good. Now I just have to avoid unplugging the M9 =_=

Guitar would be my primary use for it though.

My life sucks and I can't do anything right.

I'd better distract myself before the shrooms kick in...

But one more thing: Single ladies, if a single dude asks you to go and do something together, it's probably a date.
