Yep. Mostly when it involves the local equivalent of Craigslist.
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

Let this post be a placeholder for all of the things I cannot say in public at the moment...

and also, my kids keep fighting and they have only been on summer break for a few weeks.

I already dislike going to meetings, and tonight I was supposed to go to a meeting regarding an art show I'm going to be in. However, and hour before hand it starts raining super hard and flooding. I live in a basement studio.

I spent all that time bailing water away from my door and windows.

So much for professional meetings.

At least my place is dry.

I got my article bumped out of the next Perfect Sound Forever issue by Robert Christgau and his NYU students . Now it'll have to hold until the September issue.

Mine have been on break for a fucking MONTH. :( I can't get anything done with 3 girls in the house. I mean, I'm sure it would be the same with boys. But OMG. Drama city up in here all the fucking time!!!

Yep. I have two girls and a boy and they are all the same level of drama llama. The things they find to fight about are INSANE. Yesterday our oldest spent half the morning sighing LOUDLY because a webpage wouldn't load quickly and she was sure it was her brother's fault. ITS A FUCKING WEBSITE, YOU PRE-TEEN DRAMA QUEEN. Sometimes you just have to wait for 3 seconds!!!!

Lucky they weren't around in the dark days of dialup? Those were painful times. Click on a page then make a coffee and have a smoke. Come back and it's still loading.

This is the kind of thing that can sometimes.....only sometimes bum me out a bit. Only because I'd bet that those guys are somehow making money playing shitty music and dressing the way they do. I've come close to making the equivalent in the art world just because it would be easy and I might actually get paid for it. Over the top metal album covers would be so mindlessly easy to make.
