Lightning Wave pedal

Postby spruce_moose » Fri Dec 11, 2015 10:17 pm

Mysteriousj and I have been putting the final touches on our long term wave pedal concept. It's not in a case yet, but I made a quick clip of an additional feature. It can sync to an external 0-5V pulse and output its recorded wave patterns from the CV - As well as being an analog modulation effect for a separate instrument.. In this video it is controlling the PWM input of my Korg ms10 synched to a Korg Volca Beats.

Extremely intrigued, especially considering I just got a Korg MS20 mini.

Hey happy new year everyone! I just got some time to edit these clips. The footage isn't ideal, and there's slight interference/digital noise due to not having an amp and plugging directly into a recording interface.. was running out of time to give the camera back to a friend, so I just went with it..

Any questions are welcome.

This is so amazing. Is there a limit to steps or pattern length? And you use the word presets, how many are stored, and how are they recalled?

I found after I made the clips, squeezing all the relevant info into the tiny time slots was a challenge.. Shoulda written a script :)

There are 5 colours/presets and you can cycle though with short clicks of the dial. The steps should go up to 256, but I have not made it that far..

It has a cool aspect where you can create a bunch of steps in a seemingly random sequence, and when you crank the speed up, it takes the shape of an unsuspecting poly-rhythm.

Is there a rough price point or release date for these?
