EQ FUZZ EXCITER

Postby LaoWiz » Wed Aug 19, 2020 7:12 pm

Here's a SRS EQ Exciter circuit, which is an obscure 70's fuzz, built with some mostly some NOS parts I scored from an estate sale this year. Super thick sounding massive wall of fuzz. Sweet ass Gorva design smooth action premium 3PDT footswitch.

10 available for $110 shipped CONUS. For international, it's expensive so that can be discussed on a case to case basis...

Here's PSQRCL excellent demo, I usually play it maxed out so nice to hear him run through some different guitar settings. Check it:

That guitar sounded OK when I installed one Shlabotnik pup on it; it actually became alive, very soaring; but I ended up preferring the Fat Goat, which gives me a darker, more "barking" tone as well as more "CHANK" and (maybe) better dynamics when played clean."

Fuck man, I can’t handle all this cool stuff you’re putting out! I’m going through a zen phase, mostly to pay off a guitar but also because of anxiety about having cool gear gathering dust... but you are seriously testing the zen dude!

That's a little "word" play there, LaoWiz.

… and that's only if you consider "SRS" a "word".

I have em. Realized that I ordered the wrong size boxes so I need to order more because I am gonna screen print them. So you probs have a week to think on it. Also actually might have a demo for this one too but don't know how soon it will be ready but basically it's just a big ole fuzz :)

Ha, thanks dude! I 'll have more other projects in the future. This one I doubt I'll make any that are printed again, but could do some etched ones down the road. And the Filter drive I really love so may get more printed of those if there's interest. Might do a hyperfuzz next, never played a real one but breadboarded the circuit and it's quite awesome. Then maybe some weirder stuff later....
