Just for the record - it does rule on bass as well (some friendly, funny looking bird dropped me one).
And it's an amazing piece of art as well, probably the best looking pedal I ever got ... and I do have quite a lot of them.

Keep it up man!

Awesome, man! Which tone setting sounds better with bass? When you click the foot switch on the right there's the furthest right led or the middle one. The furthest right is the mid scoop and the middle is the normal mode.
Glad your liking it!!

Yeah, I liked it straight away! I was just trying it out one evening so far.

The furthest right, the mid scoop it is then, is actually my favorite. Reminds me somehow of the Oxfuzz Bass Fuzz or even the Bluebeard. That's really "bassy-doomy" in a very good way!
The other one is nice as well, makes a great fuzz for riffing. This one is more in HyperFuzz 2 (EW) territory, I'd say. There is some low end loss, but as I have a two rig set up - one rig for cleans and one for dirt - it doesn't bother me at all, I actually sound like a bass and a guitar (in sync!) like that. A rythm guitarist in a box, great!

What does the small toggle switch do, by the way? I think I had it up, finally.

The toggle engages a capacitor in the 2nd transistor network to tame some high end. It sounds best when it's not engaged. More sizzle.
