This has been one of my most well-received and loved pedals. To celebrate, In about two weeks the Radio Deluxe will be available with a fancy new feature... a 3 way switch for...
RECEPTION. That's right, now in addition to the 3 stage resonance control there will be a new switch that controls the Radio Deluxe's 'Reception.' Here's how it works:
Stage 1 is the normal clean filter circuit; no change.
Stage 2 has the same basic sounds, but you can (by dialing the knobs in just right, depending on your setup) make the pedal 'lose reception' and have background crackles and pops. Kind of a mix between a dusty record player and a radio station that is out of range. Very beautiful to my ears.
Stage 3 lowers the effectiveness of the Resonance control (losing some midrange and gaining some grit) but increases the background randomness and noise, to the point where it will
actually pick up radio stations to mix with your guitar.
The Radio Deluxe now, at it's most extreme, is just a damn radio.
And yes, by turning the Filter knob with other knobs in juuuust the right spot, you can mimic turning the dial on a radio.

Please note, this added feature is really just an easter egg on a switch. Depending on your setup and your proximity to local radio stations, you may not have the best results getting radio stations, but the background static works for everyone.
And yes, video demo soon.
We now return to your regularly scheduled broadcast.
