Thanks guys! I appreciate it. I've been drawing since I was a little guy. Went to art school. This is my way to do the art that I want without having an art job haha

skullservant wrote:Yeah I've definitely thought about it. It's a DIY circuit that someone on DIYStompboxes put together a few years ago. It's the second one that I built and a little stripped back from the first one that I did. Hbomb has the first one, it had a rotating selector switch to control how the signal fed back into itself (100%, 500k pot, none) but could have also been expanded to have light control over that as well.

I want to breadboard the next one that I make so that I can mod it. I want to to a clean switch, for 'cleaner' repeats, along with a switch for extended spread time (hbombs goes into crunchy static lofi super repeats at the max setting)

So not to keep harping on this one, but we played a show this past Saturday, and the only part I was dissatisfied with was a little leady bit that I do, and my modulation pedal (not saying which one, cuz I basically dig the pedal) dropped back a bit instead of boosting a bit.

SO: can the SHUGEIZU circuit be made without the distortion? Or is that part & parcel of the whole deal? Cuz I love the doubling / chorus-y effect it gets... and I'd love to try it on bass... but that part that I've got in mind is clean(ish)... the fuzz is supercool, and it would be neat to have that on a switch... but I'd wanna be able to turn it off.

And, yes, while we're at it, I would like a pony. Please Mr Easter Bunny?

There is a single resistor that controls the amount of gain in the circuit, but even removing it doesn't seem to get it to be 100% entirely clean. It does lower gain, but it's not a perfect clean signal. I do believe there are mods for a mix control though, I would just have to look into it more

I'm not dead I swear. My boss actually started making me work my normal hours instead of coming in early, so this is the third day that I've had 2 hours in the morning to build. I have two pedals to finish before Hunter is here- the HM2 Rat and Monkeydancer's delay. And damned if I'm not going to finish them soon

:doom: its the only boys name that I could think of that I liked other than sticking Carlson in the middle of whatever other name we chose for Dylan Carlson. I like Hunter more though :doom:

Hunter is a good way to trick your wife into naming the baby after a Mastodon album
