I was going through old records the other day and found this [snow white] and a few other children's records... And Elwood had given me this pickup and I had bought that neck to go with the pickup but was un happy with all my options because I wanted it to be cool and a little crazy. So um.. that never worked out... sorry.. the neck went into a mothers day project... and the pickup went into my lap steel...

so yes I actually made this for my Mum..

And she loves it!

Be sure to give it jag plates, otherwise the pickguard (assuming your scrapping the rhythm circuit) just looks awkwardly empty.

I'm pretty sure you can somewhere. If not, you could get some normal ones and just leave them empty/do something cool with them like a tone bypass or something.

EDIT: a quick google search reveals that there are no commercially available blank plates, but that doesn't mean you can't get a bro to make you some.

The idea is tempting... this is still a while off... but.. it's gonna be a tele neck on a jazz body.. and I was thinking I don't have a fender all single coil type guitar.. I don't know.. the big ugly guard might win out depending on the color.. which might be trans grey, orange or white.. I can't decide if I want to go sci-fi or construction machine LOL..
