Also... I am annoyed that I can't find a sticker version of Yoko's shull hairpin  You can get the actual thing or a patch but no sticker  Gainax's merchandising has finally failed me :grumpy:

 If you get one big enough the top of the skull could start at the back by the strap button and the teeth would end up between the pickups.
Not sure how it would look with all the hardware mounted though. :idk:

Found a pickguard :thumb: and ordered stickers :thumb:

Looks like I am going to have to make a ring for that bridge pickup :idk: Thinking plexi glass ATM, I might do one for the TV too so they match... I hate routing plexi but I want it to look right.. wood would be easy, and I could paint it black but for some reason that feels lame...

Yeah it's cool! not going to re-fin it's too chewed up, to do so I would have to rebuild edges, which I know how to do, but... I like the mojo it has, this thing really got the shit beat out of it. Body is Philippine mahogany which a lot of 60's Japanese guitars were made out of, it's a really light wood, my electra MPC was made out of it and that guitar was good sounding it had more lows and less mids/sustain like a real mahogany body would have... I think this will work out for the sound application I have in mind which is a bass to play lots of chords on :thumb: Gunn'a have to add a little wood under the bridge pickup and I still need to think on the ring things..
