Update yo!
Got body, it rocks.
Neck pocket IS under sized so I can re-rout it to fit the neck and have the screw holes line up :yay:

Here is a pict of what I have right now, no work has been done yet and I need to find a pickup. I trying to decide to go stock fender or Duncan.

Turns out the duncans are the only choice. Duncan makes all the reissue pickups for Fender Japan :omg:
:( Nothing is going to happen with this intill I gets me that Workhorse from Devi though  Have to keeps funds where they are and all intill...

So a small update.
I am inquiring about having a pickguard made. The more I look at it the more I think it NEEDS one. It'll be white if they will do what I want.

Also I'm not going with the rick bridge, the string hight with where the neck is sitting doesn't work so I'm thinking about getting a mustang bridge.

OK. So do to me getting side-tracked with buying fuzzes instead of parts for this    :p and me getting that V bass this project has been on hold for a while.. I think this is a good thing actually because I've had time to really think about what I want in another SS bass.

And what I have concluded on is that the mustang pickup is counterintuitive to my needs as a fuzz junky :thumb: What do I mean? well some fuzzes as you all know react to different pick types. So I need for this bass to be more flexible in these terms  So I'm going to go with a Rio Grande Pitbull and a 5 way rotary switch.

Hmm a stripe... I'll think on it. Gold... can't do as you can't get mustang hardware in gold. I hate Tort, sorry.

So really. I'm thinking about a metal [raw aluminum], or a metal colored one [like a gretsch] guard. Getting the Pitbull in chrome, and having the V&T stacked. I found a source for mustang bridges and tuners too.

OK update.... I am going to use the RIC bridge. I am making my own pickguard, it will be metal, either brass or aluminum. I am getting the pitbull and a rotory switch. I'll post another mockup for fun in a day or so.

+
The neck is fit to the body now, and I just got a template for the pickup.
