haha I was surprised actually, there isn't much info about their gear online. Premier guitar needs to get on that.
That sounds right to me. Gretsch has so many models now I can't imagine there were that many in the late 1980s? but I have no idea.

The problem with Gretsch guitars, for me, is that even within the same model features change over time.
I think they've even used the same model numbers for totally different guitars.
