interestingly, at least the guy from ningen isu uses one of those huge shamisen picks on guitar. feel like i know other japanese players that do this but can't think of specific examples.

interesting. i thought of using a shamisen pick but its probably bulky stupid and expensive! oud picks are huge too. Idk if there is a noticeable differnce on guitar tho

shamisen picks might be expensive but they're harder to lose!

Coldbright already heard this story but I drank half a bottle of wine last night and found my pick, after unsuccessfully looking all day

I would love the 2mm Dunlop Big Stubby picks if not for the indentation which hurts my fingers because of how it's placed on the picks. They're still the best ones I've found.

Big fan of Dunlop Tortex Sharps these days - the pointy profile of a Jazz III pick without being so miserably stubby.

Anyone tried the Dunlop Flow shape who has a Jazz III reference point? I’ve been stuck to III’s for a while (in Ultex for a few years since I tried those) and have no complaints but I’m curious because some III people seem to switch over.
