My original post was somewhat in jest, due to the contrast between what's going on in te clip compared to most modern usage of aluminum guitars. Carry on, all.

Sorry, my fault for shit-posting.

To atone, here's Albini playing a Veleno.

wish I could find Keith Levene playing one (his Travis Bean wedge was bitchin' tho)

I'm kind of more fascinated by the ironed Cher hair on the guys in front and the grandma hair on the rhythm section.

5 years later, hair *and* groove have changed; still rockin' (well, 'syncin') a Veleno

I heard that song a lot as a kid, but somehow had never seen that clip until a couple of weeks ago, so weird.

Rundgren said in a 70's Guitar Player interview that he had to quit using his Veleno because it went out of tune every time the stage lights changed. not enough mass. nobody seems to have had similar problems with Travis Beans.

The Veleno-playing guitarist died several years before this...after having left the band in '85. Saxy singer was also in boogie blooze Valhalla by this point. What's in a name? :idk:
