Good guitar plugins

Postby jirodreamsofdank » Thu Apr 23, 2020 2:58 am

Mostly avoided guitar-oriented plugins because my initial experience with Amplitube and Bias Grid was that they sucked ass but it turns out there's some good, affordable shit out there.

Kuassa amp models - I bought the Marshall set for half off ($25) and the JTM45 model kills for a do it all guitar sound
Audiority L12X - free model of a Lead 12 practice amp
Audiority Fuzz Face - haven't tried their other pedal models but the FF sounds really really good IMO
Audio Thing Outer Space - doesn't quite capture the quirks of my RE-101 Space Echo but mine also may not have been serviced since the Ford Administration
Audiority Plexitape - gimme this over the Catalinbread

This is a fun free one that sounds a lot like the copicat I used to have

Otherwise I mostly use a lot of Torpedo Wall of Sound and pedals into my DI.

LePou? All I know is it’s free. I still haven’t really spent any time in the amp sim world.
