If you end up not liking the floyd you can block it just like any old strat trem, I've done it before

Well here is a pic from the listing. Looks black but is suposedly "black forest." Which I guess is just crazy dark green? I dunno, we'll see what I get when it shows up.

Damn right, this is a poser decapitator. Unfortunately, I feel like a guitar that looks like this creates an expectation of shred. And since I only play in slow ass weedmetal bands that ain't happenin.

More people should play more guitars based on them liking them vs what style of music they play :thumb:

For real. Volahn for example play absolutely ruling black metal on jangly Fenders. Gives them more of a far out, California vibe and makes them a more unique I think.

Surprisingly comfortable to play. I think I have the Floyd figured out but...damn.

Its really hard to not bang the points against things throughout my house. Which, based on the locations of the scratches in the finish, the previous owner struggled with as well. haha

I had the same problem the first month I hda my Rhoads V.
My daughter copped a point in the head too. I was awfully glad it didn't do much damage to her

I’ve always lusted after one of these:
Image
Imagine this body, slightly modified to accept a Bigsby! :animal:

I almost pulled the trigger on this one, but the Floyd made me pause so hard that by the time I decided to do it, it had sold...
Image

And while it’s not exactly pointy (and despite my opinion that Tosin is the Joe Bonamassa of off kilter time signatures...), I’ve been in serious lust for this shape for a minute
Image
Maybe because it reminds me so much of a Teuffel Tesla... :idk:

Those look dope I'll admit, but I'm kind of over the single volume knob and no tone knob stuff. I have way too many pedals that require volume and tone knob tweaking to bring out the madness .. I guess that guitar is seemingly functional for Tosin and his current gig.

I set up his UV777PBK in like 2003 when Reflux played in town. He had the Floyd blocked off too :erm:

I only have a volume knob on all my guitars.
I'm actually considering getting rid of that as well.

...engage the pedal for a ripping fuzz tone...or roll back the volume on your guitar for a more subtle, bluesy overdrive.

Sorry...the spirit of PGS Andy took over my body for a minute.
