Besides Couch and cheapo ones where do you guys get your guitar straps? I've decided I want/need a yellow Tiger Stripe guitar strap a'la George Lynch's yellow guitar. The only one I can find online is on alibaba but I distinctly remember these being around years ago...

I want to try a Souldier strap (lotsa options), or a UK company called Air straps. They're good straps.
Then again, I might just go for an old Ace or Bobby Lee if I find one cheap,

I had the wife put in an order for a Soulider bass strap for a holiday gift.
They're were cheap, long, and had lots of options in fabric print.

same, only strap i'll ever own. they're gorgeous.
worth mentioning though, the metal parts will probably put a lot of dings in your guitar if you leave it on all the time. might bother some people.

I really like couch/ couch type for guitars around home but for gigging they are all too thin and no one really makes anything long enough for me that works so I make my own by taking a wide leather strap and adding leather belts to either end..
This is a Levy's padded strap with a greenlee tool belt riveted to it. I had actually ordered the strap as a extra long but all Levy's does when you order one is to add an extra long tail to the strap which don't work if you have it fully extended because it puts the end of the thick part right on your shoulder.. so if you want something done right you might as well do it yourself.

I like Pete Schmidt 50s Vintage style a lot:

I like Souldier straps. Mainle because they are the only ones I can get "over the counter" that has any kind of original design.
Favourite is the olympics inspired one on my Bass VI. Fits the sunburst very nicely. Souldiers are also on the JM and Jag.

My old Dean Markley suede strap which I used last weekend that is so broken in that it is effectively no thicker than rope. I am thinking of getting a thicker leather strap. There has to be a balance between stiffness = weight distribution and softness = comfort

Cliplocks all day. I've never had an issue with them no matter how crazy I get onstage

yeah I am all about the cliplocks
I like the feel of them too, and the way the cable passes through them
it's a well thought out strap
