I'd love to try a 4 string Dingwall. I've only owned 5's and learned the hard way that I'm not a 5 string player. Let me know how it is!

I will let you know, JWAR. I expect ~10 month wait. Typically these are 18 months but I was able to "buy" a preorder that a Dingwall dealer put in about 8 months ago. Since Dingwall hasn't started the build, I was able to get the custom stuff that I wanted added/changed. :!!!:

ayup, though a 4 string with the 37" scale on the low string would be cool for BEAD or someawt. Do they make any that way?

Behndy knows we love him.

OK, this may be a stupid question; but if I can get a used Afterburner 2 5er in excellent/mint condish for a couple hundo more than a new Combustion or NG2(also 5er, natch), I'd be better off grabbing the Afterburner, correct?

Does the answer change if the Combustion is a loverly purplish Indigoburst? :D

:idk: I don't know anything about Dingwall basses. So, based on looks alone, I'd say go with the Combustion.
