Sweet thunderin' Jayzus, what is that thing?

The body is made out of steel by a friend of mine in Cali. It's hollow but has an aluminum bar that runs from the bridge to the neck pocket kinda like a Bean. Single volume and coil split for the SD Hot Rail in the neck. Walnut baritone conversion neck. Sperzel tuners. Tuned in either B standard or Drop A.

Everytime you post Drippy on Instagram my heart skips a beat cause I think it is for sale, but I don't have money to buy it.

Guys, real affordable baritones in a bad ass but not overly pointy style...

I don't think I whored out this one again under this paint job in this thread
Found this cool krylon pink enamel at home depot that was actually really ok for a spray can. All that relicy looking shit is from handling the body when the paint hadn't fully hardened.
Put a AVRI JM pickup in the neck
Really want some flatwounds for it but they are so expensive....I think maybe you can order a set of 7 string flatwounds for like 10 dollars and then buy a independent low A flatwound from just strings. Haven't gotten around to doing that though.

Got a DC Kunkle neck for the Bastardmaster.
Also put a SD Quarter Pounder in the bridge and added a Japanese Bigsby knock-off.
Haven't played it with an amp yet, but sounds rad through the board into ampsim.

Wow, those are some cool builds and configurations!

For you folks that used baritone conversion necks: was it truly just a bolt on conversion? Was there any other work needed?
I haven't found a baritone I've really loved, so I'm pondering a conversion.

I have very low standards when it comes to intonation and setups so I'm probably not the best to answer this, but yeah pretty much. I just bolted mine on and it plays great. You'll probably need a new nut and bridge depending on the string gauge you go for too

Oh right, nut and bridge would be a given. Probably would have glossed right over that and realized it way too late.

I did a dc kunkle conversion neck on a telecaster and the stock bridge worked fine. It intonated nicely too. What kinda guitar you got in mind and how low you trying to tune?

Drop A? Currently in dropped C for everything but would like to go lower.
Maybe a strat body of some sort.
