Real talk, at work we had a Danelectro Baritone reissue and it was my favorite guitar in the store. I picked it up anytime I tested out dirt pedals. Best bang for your buck in the baritone market in my opinion.

The '56 reissues? I was checking those out a while back actually.

I have an ESP LTD baritone I got a while back for $200 and some pedals I built. I thought about selling it but it's a really nice guitar. Have it tuned to Drop A

Not mine but the same model:

So would there be any issue using the 29.75" baritones set up like a bass vi? Not sure I understand all the tech differences if I'm being honest...I just want a bass I can play like a guitar.

I have tried both the squier vi and the dano 56. Both were comfortable to me, but my testing was quite limited. I know there are a couple other 29.75" scale ones out there...the gretsch jet for instance. Just trying to weigh all my options. I would also prefer to keep aftermods/upgrades to a minimum.

Telebari is the shit... I put thicker strings on and dropped it to A-A and haven't had a problem yet... I mostly use the top two pickups or I flip back to the humbucker for bright twang... It's great with dirt and 2x15s and Dan can tell you how mean I get it to sound...

It's wood but they just feel real generic, there's a shop up the street that carries them and no one buys them... I love the old Ramones Mosrite style but these are just pale comparisons...
