I have a squier VI

I kinda wish I got the pawnshop instead.

I've got a avri trem and staytrem VI bridge on mine. No volume or tone controls, just wired straight to the jack. I've also rewired the pickups to be in series.

Any other mods? I didn't care for the parallel wiring. The strangle switch is useless for me so any ideas???

I always thought a rhythm circuit on a VI would be cool. I actually rolled the tone off sometimes on bass/vi (when I had one) for use with fuzz and stuff, and it would be cool to have that on a switch instead.

This is the dream for me. After owning the Pawnshop VI for a little more than 4 years and playing a VI almost exclusively in band contexts since mid 2014, I feel going the aluminium route is the only upgrade option left. The vintage Bass VI sound just doesn't seem like it's worth the mulitple thousand dollar/euro investment (to me), but every time I see/hear guitarists or bassists play an aluminium instrument I think 'gotta have that sound someday'.

So yeah, been saving for a 30" all-aluminium EGC for some months now, hope to make the deposit later this year.

I don't have this in my possession yet, but I sold my squier vi and have this coming from across the pond.

Revelation is like the squire of the UK, so it's not really an upgrade in quality, but def an upgrade in aesthetics!

Looks hawt though. Middle pickups is a nice touch aesthetically. I would hit it too much with my pick though. Going to have it for ILFMW?

If anyone is looking for a Squier VI Staytrem, hit me up... ideally would like to swap for a regular 9.5" Jag/Jazz model but open to selling or other trades...

Unless it makes it from Coventry Parcelforce in the UK @ 4:00AM today to Champlin MN by Friday, I'd say no :(
