Somebody installed a mini switch for more switching options in the past, but now everything is back to stock.

Although the 70s SGs are not highly appreciated in general, this is by far the best guitar I have ever played. Very low action ("fretless wonder"), great sound & a beautiful ebony fretboard.

SG's are just too perfect. I might be biased cause they fit me perfectly, but fight me that shit dooms harder than a BFG in a horde of cacodemons.

i love my SG. they're great for all kinds of music...at one time c.1969-70 it seemed like everyone was using a SG: Clapton, Harrison, Iommi, Santana, Garcia, Cipollina, Townshend, Mick Taylor...Bernie even played a SG alongside the Shergold in Joy Division that he still plays in New Order today.

I love my SG too. Occasionally when I haven't played it for a while I think about selling it so I could buy something different, but then as soon as I play it again I remember why I love it and there's no way it's going anywhere.

Ditched the '68 335. Was harder to sell than I expected. This is the replacement.

1960 Epiphone Olympic.

I'd initially hoped to find more of a beater - ideally something already routed for HBs or P90s - but this'll do. Bridge might go. Tuners DEFINITELY have to go - way too tight and have to retune at least once an hour. Pickups were a surprise. Not a lot of output, but girthy as hell. Entirely useable as is, don't understand the hate - other than the fact that they aren't HB's or P90s. Found a pair of Novak MM-90s for cheap, definitely going to swap the bridge pickup, not sure yet about the neck.

Vintage 'gibson' for less than the price of a new special or studio model? Yes please.

It's dumb but I'm holding out for an SG with a Lyre or sideways trem. Which probably means I'll never be able to afford one, the Custom Shops are stupid expensive and the used special runs never go cheap.
