I just picked this up today. 1990 MIJ Jackson RR5. Duncan Distortion in the bridge and Jazz in the neck.

Put normal strings on the tele, pulled the firebird pickup and put the ashtray/pickup back on. I was fed up with my Tokai strat going out of tune when using the vibrato and the fact that it doesn't have a bridge+neck option (yet-gonna mess with blender wiring next time I'm messing with it). It was a bit of an 'idle hands' situation coz I was really bored too, but it's actually a really fantastic blues machine now. Mojo goldfoil has midrangey grunt, bridge pickup (which is probably a fender nocaster pickup) is sharp as a goddamn hanzo sword and they sound really sweet together for the steve cropper stuff I'm always trying to rip off.

Had an unfortunate incident with USPS destroying my PRS Mira, and had to get a new PRS.

Drove out to Wild West Guitars in Pasadena yesterday and picked up this beauty. Had a great experience—nothing but good things to say about them.

2018 CE-24 from their exclusive run in faded gray black burst with 57/08s, a natural back, and black neck/headstock.

Love the looks of Vs, hate the feel (unless playing standing up). And I have a V … Fernandez V-Hawk ...

Love those hagstroms. How do you like it? Is it kind of like a strat?

I love it! Details here: http://ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=188&t=60274

I wouldn't say it's too much like a Strat. It's definitely its own creature.
