That Epi looks pretty sweet, is the bridge angled oddly or am I just seeing it wrong?

Sold off a bunch of extra shit about a month ago that I didn't need and had laying around and picked up this S-500 Tribute which is by far the best Strat-style guitar I've ever played.
I was at my local Music-Go-Round and played about 13 other Strats and Strat style guitars (from $89-$1399) and this Tribute blew them all out of the water.

this guy is on the way -

I just got an Edwards LP copy with P-90s recently, and while it's *fine*, it just stoked my appetite for a set-neck single-cut with P-90s that would play and sound AWESOME.
unless there's something crazy undisclosed about the 290, I'm sure this will fit the bill! Collings guits are ridiculously consistent.
Maybe partying will help.

RAD. I'm really wanting one of their 18-22 watt amps now. Just so good! Gotta say, I wish there was any reverb pedal that sounded like this amp's 'verb.

Anyone else play slide? I've been listening to a lot of Son Volt recently and pulled out the old slide tuned to open D. I just use a normal guitar slide (haven't splurged for the bar yet) with finger picks. It sounds sooooooo good with a shitload of delay and the chorus from my whammy.

i used to play a ton of slide, but haven't done for awhile because i lost the chromed-brass one i'd been using since the mid 70s. i want to get another one after seeing Spiritualized last week, though.

I do! I play lap steel also, which is glorious with fuzz and other effects.

I completely gutted it this weekend and put in all new electronics and hum-cancelling Fralin p90s (it came stock with SD Blackouts which were way too hot and metal-oriented). The Edwards eclipses are very uncommon in the US so I didn't know what to expect, but I'm glad I took the eBay gamble - it sounds and plays like a much more expensive guitar.

Edwards are awesome. I have a Les Paul that looks not a million miles away from that, myself:

Pickups are Bare Knuckle Emeralds, black covers, gold screws. Basically a bright PAF, but on steroids. Went with black covers because I felt like gold would be a little too flashy on this one. Best guitar I own.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

Picked up an Offset Telecaster a few months ago. GC had them listed at $1100 and I couldn't resist. So here I am.

Looks really good in LPB. My bandmate had one very similar made a few years ago except with a Jazzmaster pickup in the neck and it's godly!
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth
