thanks everyone have been playing it just about everyday since i got it. traveled on subways, the back of motorcycle taxis, and then by bus 13 hours with it in my arms going back home to the north as well hahaha. just glad it made it back safely in one piece.
friendship: have you tried these in person yourself? I will look through information about them today myself too, but it would be great to hear your personal experience as well. They look really nice and look like they might just be exactly what i am looking for.

Got this bad boy for my birthday and I am in LUUUURRRRRRRRVE
It's a 1979 Greco EG-700 with Bill Lawrence designed Gibson pickups and Gibson Deluxe tuners.
It's the last guitar I thought I would buy/own since I generally a) hate bursts and b) hate relics (this is natural relic as far as I know, so not as bad as buying a brand new pre-relic'd guitar imo), but as soon as I played it I had to have it. I played new gibsons, new tokais, used tokais, used orvilles, new LTDs/ESPs and nothing felt or sounded as good as this
My new Fender MIJ 62 Tele Custom. I never thought that a telecaster would match my idea of sound, but tuned to C# in combination with a Catalinbread Naga Viper into a Hiwatt, this is a serious consideration for some stoner sounds, think of Colour Haze, Sungrazer,...
I got a new tele too! My phone takes garbage pictures but you get the idea. The wide ranges sound cool especially the neck. Gonna mess around with adjusting the bridge pickup a bit but that'll be tomorrow. Now I just need some cowboy boots.
Here's my white korina / canary / ziricote tele. I built it for stoner / psych stuff, so it's closer to an SG than a typical Tele. Pickups are 50s style Rumpelstiltskins. Sounds pretty good through the Four Eyes into the Pharaoh IMO.
