Does the hi/lo switch make it more bass friendly? Or will I just need to pull the trigger on the Freakenstein bass model?

G's right - it doesn't add more bass or anything, just makes the overtone more or less pronounced.

Is the new Igor compatible with the original Freakenstein? If so will we be able to buy on its own without the Dwarf? Looking for more sensitivity in my Igor!

It's not compatible with the original Freakenstein (plastic case), just the DrFF-3, and Son Of Freakenstein. The new Igor will be for sale on it's own, round about £20. If you DO have the earlier Freakenstein, let me know and I'll re-configure one for you.
I'll put a thread up here when it's about (in about a week).
