I don't know if I understand it, but that is a godly enclosure!

I don't know what the hell that does, but I guess it's a multi triggered tremolo / gate of some kind? :)

It's like a compressor that's triggered by your drummer's bass drum... Puts a big rhythmical hole in your sound - like 'side-chaining' or 'ducking'. Does do a tremelo too....

Whoa. Just... whoa.

Is it like a volume based sequencer-ish pedal for creating up to 10 steps of volume up/down treolo-ish fx?

It cuts your volume every time it gets a trigger - which comes from either its own internal tap tempo, the mic (supplied) in your drummer's bass drum, or CV in. How quickly the volume returns is decided by the 'return' pot, plus there's also a 'depth' control for the amount of cut, a 'mic level' for getting the bass drum mic triggering nicely, plus an overall 'volume' control.
The dip meter shows (with a line of 10 LEDs) how you have the (analogue) controls set.

It's like a tremelo - except you tell it exactly when to do each gap in the sound.

I find it easier to think of it as an extreme compressor - that compresses the sound whenever another instrument (eg bass drum, drum machine) makes a noise.

This weekend I'm shooting a videoclip with a drummer - which will hopefully make it all alot clearer... :yay:

you could also make a bass specific one that is an exciter triggered by kick mic.
but this is awesome! I hear ISIS bass drum tones in my head.
