Delay question for you...

Postby D-Rainger » Sat Nov 26, 2011 6:46 pm

How much does setting a 'rhythmical' delay time matter to you?... You know, like The Edge sort of thing?
I had an idea for an effect where the delay speed changes according to the signal going in. Seems like a mad idea - but those are so often the best!

Oh man, that sounds crazy awesome. Shorter delay time the harder someone plays, gentle = long, ambient delay? Also, the idea of using a volume pedal to do crazy things... :omg:

Seems like a great idea. Won't care if does 'rhythmical' at all, I can always grab another delay for that.

That sounds awesome! I'd just been thinking about a delay which did that, you could maybe have an option for it to be modulated by an lfo as well? :idk:

Also, I'd love to see a crazy-ass delay like this with an effects loop that only affected the delay repeats. Oh, and stereo ins & outs so you could turn it into one big delay-elay-elay-lay-ay-ay-y-yed feedback loop!
