Sat Oct 29, 2011 5:00 pm

First this is totally constructive, I bought couple of time on Mammoth and it's a great place to buy electronics :) ;)

so this is just some ideas of things that will be nice to have in stock:

-Clear Rubber Feet

-Water Slide papers

so if you have more ideas ???

Vero board, terminal blocks, and my minds blanking on the other thing I'm thinking of... turret board?

Vero
Fresnel Lenses
Battery Holders (not snaps)
A small worker elf to do offboard wiring

You guys are awesome. I'll compile a list and show the purchasing team.

:) Thanks!!

max/tc1044's!!! Small bear is one of the only places that sometimes has them, and they are $3.50 a piece

This! I always decide to drop them off my purchase list when the price is too high, if you stocked em I'd just grab em as needed.

Also, as said before, vero.

It would be absolutely amazing if you would stock eyelets because I'm tired of ordering from watts and spending 50x the price in shipping and waiting twice as long.

741 op amps (some people care)
NPN germanium transistors (although, maybe the GT-AC187s are mislabelled? I thought AC187s were NPN)
transistor sockets
inductors
through hole board with no soldering pads (I personally build ptp and through hole with soldering pads is actually more of a pain)
weller soldering tips
drilling options for the dd enclosures
tighter qc on some of the painted/drilled enclosures. I've gotten a few enclosures that had errors, paint chips, or irregular holes
treadle enclosures would be awesome, too

This. Byoc says they got them, but they're only for the wah kits

Dunno if I'd call these things "missing"... it's more of a wishlist.

Enclosures similar to Hammond 1590G. They're a bit smaller than 1590B, but not as small as 1590A. They'd be awesome for building tiny, simple fuzzes without having to cram it into a 1590A.

Alpha RV09AF (or similar) pots. They're those little green ones with the plastic shaft that looks like a knob. They're used a lot more lately for tiny enclosures of small external trimmers.

Perfboard not sized for certain enclosures-- and for those that are enclosure sized, maybe integrate a 3PDT PCB into them.

These are good too

Registered just to say this, a boxing kit like the one for tonefiend.com would be excellent, only without the perfboard. I don't build pedals much, so I never have the parts handy, a single kit for everything that I can transplant a circuit into directly would be awesome.

I've actually thought about building/offering this before, but it would be better for a company like Mammoth.

Here's one I just thought of. Pedal-sized cardboard boxes for diyers to put their builds in. Would be good for shipping/storage.

Yea, I actually need to find a place I can get these in bulk. I know PPP has them for $1 each.

Can we have enclosure drilling options that include top mounted jacks/power? There's over a dozen drilling layouts for the 1590BB, which is cool, but none with top mounted jacks, which makes my pedalboard very sad.
