Joe Gress wrote:Haha just saw this. I used both a passive (p-bass) and active (stingray). Passive was woolly and splatty, active was pretty splatty and almost synth like. This infront of my Pickle Pie B was pretty brutal. The switches are nifty, fuck if I ever remember what setting I left them on most of the time. It can go from really grainy and splattery to full on with some combos. The volume knob is mainly for output only; backing it off doesn't really do much. The switches do though. I can't remember (it's actually been a while since I had used the Hawk last) which switch it is, but it cranks the gain quite a bit. The bottom switch is the fuzz character. I liked the full on, muff-esque setting the most. Watch the output, little bastard can get really REALLY loud.

Back when I was moving the ganja I got my hands on a pound of really good bud cheap. So I was trying to pass on the savings to my customers. Was only asking $60 for a 1/4 oz. Everyone would be asking, why so cheap? Whats wrong with it? No one wanted it. So I buried it for a few months till xmas time when things dried up. Sold it at $120 a 1/4 oz. Sold like hotcakes. I guess some people are skeptical of things when they are cheap.
